This course was developed by Kathya Kaye, M.A. Sp.Education, born in Belgium, mother of four children with learning difficulties ranging from high functioning Autism to extreme dyslexia. Kathya, herself dyslexic, has been involved in education for over 20 years, established a number of Waldorf Steiner schools internationally in the U.S. and Europe and is currently the Chair of the Waldorf Steiner Early Childhood movement in Ireland, where she is now based. She is a Special Needs Educational consultant to local authorities.

The Kiltennel Child Development Centre which she founded in 1995 was one of the first schools in Ireland to be recognised by Government for its unique approach to education. Combining Waldorf Steiner techniques with a whole person approach to learning has brought about significant results for the children and their families attending the school.
