About Us
New Life Learning is an Irish headquartered eLearning organisation, working with leading recognised specialists from around the world, to make courses in Child and Personal Development, available to a wider adult audience, through the innovative use of ICT.
We work in two ways, directly with individual independent learners through the internet and also in partnership with Central and Local Government, Local Area Partnerships, Education, Adult and Children’s Services, for comprehensive delivery of ICT based learning services right across the community. We have a successful track record working with hard to reach and vulnerable groups including people who are unemployed, single parents, women’s groups, disability, traveller, drug and remand groups.
Our mission is to :
- ensure no-one gets left behind in the ICT evolution
- contribute to halting intergenerational poverty among socially excluded groups
- engage normally reluctant people to become independent, individual adult learners with a confidence and competency in ICT, with content that is immediately relevant and of obvious benefit to their lives.
- increase the numbers of adults who may have been outside the learning system for some time and who are not computer literate, to learn new skills, taking them back into employment or further education,.
- build capacity in local communities, especially socially excluded areas by sharing of skills, resources, training, employment and re-investment of part of our surpluses
- make a measurable impact on national and local Government’s social inclusion objectives and targets
- share and teach valuable business and entrepreneurial skills to make our communities better places to live
- include our partners and participants expertise in evolving our course curriculum
- create win/win situations for our partners, employees, stakeholders and participants
